The child has one intuitive aim: self development


Namchi, October 12, 2018:  Namchi Public School’s Table Tennis team of Boys and Girls put in a spectacular performance in all four divisions to be crowned the Champions of this year’s ARCEIS (Association of Roman Catholic Educational Institutions in Sikkim) Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament.  This year’s tournament was organized by NPS, at their state-of-the-art multipurpose Auditorium.  

NPS team’s Aron Portel Biswakarma and Don Bosco School’s Nima Yangchen Sherpa bagged the Most Valuable Players’ honours in Boys and Girls categories for their scintillating performances.  Don Bosco School, Malbasey, was the First Runner-up and St. Francis’ School, Jorethang, was the Second Runner-up.  The other team in the tournament was St. Xavier’s School, Pakyong.  The tournament witnessed some budding talents of Sikkim, showcasing dazzling skills and reflexes, and entertaining the spectators with their stylish play.  NPS Principal, Rev. Fr. George A. D’Souza, thanked the players, coaches, managers and the School Principals, for making this tournament a great success.  With this victory, NPS has become a Sporting powerhouse in the state of Sikkim.
